Content on Make Marketing Easy Blog

The Make Marketing Easy Blog is the hub for content created by Joel Gaslin. The aim of the blog is to help you become confident in marketing and selling by learning skills.

Why Is the Name The Make Marketing Easy Blog?

I am a marketing and selling professional with more than thirty years of experience. In every role I’ve worked, the quest is always to make marketing and selling easier.

Why? Because every business needs growth to stay alive. However you define growth - New accounts, new patients, or more site conversions doesn’t matter.

We all want growth and want it to be easy. Hence, the name: Make Marketing Easy Blog

Can Marketing and Selling Really Be Easy?

Yes. And no.

I know that many times I make it a lot harder than it has to be. This happens when I stray from having a beginner’s mindset and thinking I know best.

I believe there are two fundamental tenets to make marketing and selling easy. First, listen and seek to deliver value and service. Second, do what you said you were going to do when you said you’d do it.

Yep. It is that simple.

How Might The Make Marketing Easy Blog Help Me Reach My Goals?

All of the resources on this site aim to help you gain skills and insights. Most of the resources are free, and if you wish to go deeper there are paid products and services, too.

I’ve learned through listening to others and my own hard knocks, that succeeding in marketing and selling is a lot like physical fitness. What I mean is, if you hire a personal trainer they can give you weights and a plan, but you are the one who must commit to lifting the weights and working the plan. There is no substitute for this fact.

The Make Marketing Easy Blog is like your personal trainer for growing your business. It’s positive and encouraging, always becoming, and will have a flow of new content and resources to help you.

In Conclusion

Stop back often to keep up-to-date with new content ideas, marketing strategies and tactics, and discussions on the Make Marketing Easy Blog.

I write and curate content about marketing and selling on this blog. So if you’re into that, stop back often. And leave a comment below about any challenges you might struggling with in your business. I’m here to help!

Many of you like book recommendations, so here’s one of my favorites that will help you create marketing campaigns and funnels: “Marketing Made Simple” by Donald Miller. (Affiliate Link) And for you Podcast lovers, remember the Make Marketing Easy Podcast.
